I just did the singleplay missions again.
I really enjoy this game.
Is there still playing played on the multiplay English server?
28006 or 28016 ?
I really love to play without any mods and cheats
Btw, i got evil islands to run in windows 8.1 but only in windowed version and max res 1280*1024 Any higher the game crash or on full screen.
IS there a tip to get it running on higher res and full screen? |

Оба указанных порта для англоязычных юзеров. Но там нечасто кто-то играет. Лучше воспользоватся польским портом (28014), адекватных англоязычных юзеров там вполне хватает. Разве что в названии сервера стоит указывать безмод, чтобы юзеры модов не крашили. (Впрочем, поляки гораздо аккуратнее в этом вопросе в отличии от рашен-игроков)

Хм, никогда не сталкивался с таким багом... У меня нормально идет при 1600*1200. Тут надо бы полный конфиг системы, да и текст ошибки не помешал бы тоже. Иначе, гадать можно долго и всего скорее бестолку

не издевайтесь над буржуином %). Хоть бы тогда уж без сленга и односложно как-то писал чтоб ему гугл перевёл всё хоть немного понятно.

28006 or 28016 - for english speaking users, it seems that there are no anybody who play there, or you can meet them very rare.
Try 28014 - it is poland port, but there are a lot of english speaking users. Write in the servername that you are not using any mods - to prevent server crashes.

there are some messages in russian forum about launching the game on win 8.1 - there are the same problems, as for now there is no any solution except using Win 7 in VirtualBox. You can try to disable Win 8.1 desktop effects or try to play with game graphic settings or videocard's drivers versions, but i doubt that it can help.
May be somebody who made a game.exe disassembly can debug it in win 8.1 and find what cause this bug to fix it, but as for now seems that this somebody don't use win 8.1 and has no this problem, so he has no any motivation %).
Also - the game is not designed to be used with wide screen resolutions and with high resolutions at all. 1024*768 was the most popular when it was released, and it looked fine in it.

Thanks, i will keep a eye on the polish server.
Well Ill have to keep playing in windowed modus 
1600*1200 wont work my laptop it is sadly 1920*1080 |

@Sagrer I play on Win 8.1 and only noticed decrease of maximum 10 FPS compared to the Win 7. I turn off fullscreen on Add-on Settings but I set maximum resolution 1600x900 on my laptop and I set 16-bit mode (not 8-bit mode) in properties and game working well
